Both platforms will be bridge linked to existing facilities. The WorleyParsons scope covered conceptual design engineering during the Select phase, FEED, and procurement services including the purchase of long lead equipment.
PLCPP includes two gas processing trains complete with compression, dehydration, dew point control, mercury removal, condensate stabilization and water handling facilities. The facilities have a maximum design throughput of 420 MMSCFD of sales gas, together with approximately 22,000 bpd of condensate and up to 60,000 bpd of produced water.
In addition, three new subsea trunklines will be installed to supply the new facilities with gas and condensate. Brownfield tie-ins and system de-bottlenecking on the existing Platong Complex will also be undertaken.
The topsides for PLCPP2 have an installation weight in the order of 18,500 T and will be installed using the float-over method. This is the first time this installation technique has been used by Chevron in the Gulf of Thailand.
