At 90% full the three existing tanks could hold 351m3 of product which is 2.8 days supply at a VAE1 capacity of 45 kt/yr. This storage capacity restricts limits annual VAE1 production capacity to 45 kt/yr. With the addition of two new tanks and all tanks at 90% full, the 5 tanks can hold 851m3 of product which is 6.7 days supply at a VAE1 capacity of 45 kt/yr. This storage will allow VAE production to increase to 60 kt/yr.
Scope of the project includes:
- 2 x 250 m3 product tanks
- 2 x bar type agitators
- 2 x product pumps and two filters (reuse old)
- Relate piping work
- Process control devices
- Related civil work, including piling, foundation, ditch, paving, etc.
Nanjing office’s scope included detail engineering, procurement and construction management.
Project completed in schedule, total cost under budget, with a 48,852 safety man-hours, zero TRIR. Construction quality is in control and complies with Chinese law, code and mandatory specifications.
